Hippos for terrain...?

Some of you may have noticed that I spend a bit of time messing around with making print and play paper terrain and figures. Well, I've been posting them to my Photobucket account so anyone can download them. And amongst all the Orcs, Gnolls and Barbarians, you'll find... the Tamus.
Who are Hippos. Which you can print out and use. On your terrain.
Hippos For Terrain if you will...
You can find the printable versions of the Tamus, their chums and mortal enemies here.

Ishoo Firty-Too: Chicken Coops

The Hippo and I spent many a happy hour in our mis-spent youth playing Dungeon Keeper 2. Apart from the obvious thrill of summoning Horney, my favourite part was always the silly little chicken coops which bounced and spat feathers everywhere while the chickens were hatching. So obviously, it's time to make something similar!
Not only is a cartoony chicken coop exactly what every wargamer needs to own, it's also very easy to build! So easy even a hippo could do it! Take it away, Grot!

I said "Take it away, Grot!"

Hmmmm....

Well, there you have it, a simple, quick and compact cartoon style building for your terrain collection! Stay tuned for next ishoo where I try to tempt Grot out of his sulk with steam powered armour and the building of Fort Trollkingerschteamen. Until then, don't forget to vote on the poll, and especially don't forget to kick arse and chew bubblegum!

Ishoo Firty-Wun: One Shape, Four Ways (Part 2)

Welcome back hippo fans! Last Ishoo we built four identical building shells, and finished two of them off as Fantasy and SF buildings. In this ishoo, we're doing the other two as Steampunk and Undead buildings!
Let's let Grot get us reacquainted shall we?
Take it away, Grot!

Now here's Vampire Grot with the Mausoleum!

Now here's the Grotjack with the Steampunk version!

And there you have it Hippo fans! Four very simply ways to make four very different buildings from just one simple basic shape.
Be sure to tune in next ishoo for the long awaited People's Choice Chicken Coop!
