Ishoo Forty-Six: Kislev Peasant's House

Since The Hoodling threw down the glove and declared that HGC would host a monstrous 30,000 point per side re-enactment of the Battle of the Gates of Kislev, it's become important to build some Kislevite terrain. After a little research and thinking, it became blindingly obvious that Kislev buildings would not be hard - in fact, even a hippo could make them! Take it away Grot!

And there you have it Hippo Fans! Making a whole village of Kislev buildings is both quick and easy - tomorrow I'll post further pics to prove the point! What's more, if you change the roof from thatch to wood or even corrugated iron, and don't bother with the snow, the same style of building fits in very well in an American War of Independence or Civil War setting.

  1. Huzzah! I always assumed Kislev was built by bears, but perhaps hippos were involved...

From these pictures at least, this approach to snow looks about as good as any previous efforts with bi-carb soda and the rest, and promises to be far tougher. Will it be red if/when we chip it through abuse?
