Welcome back to more fanticide madness! This time it's the hut on fowl's legs, favoured domicile of Baba Yaga! This is the sort of cool weird fantasy image which is so perfect of Fanticide, an so easy to make as well. How easy?
Here's Grot.

There you are - ready for the table!
Next ishoo... well, vote on the poll at the top of the page to find out what next ishoo is about! I have no idea yet!

  1. What brand/type of modelling clay are you using in your projects? It just dawned on me that it would be a good way to sort out some figure basing issues I've been having.

    1. I've been using Mont Marte, which is a cheap art and craft brand in Australia. It's available from news agents, $2 shops, craft stores, that sort of thing. Any air-drying clay will work, and I have used others in the past, depending on what I could get, and in what quantity.

  2. Nice, especially the dinosaur legs. I think that Baba Yaga's hut should have a thatched roof though. This isn't hard, I've seen people use an old shaggy towel or fun fur, soaked in glue and appropriately coloured paint.

    1. If you look back through the archives you'll see that I've used that technique plenty of times. I wanted to see how a wooden roof would look.

  3. Awesome instructions! What are the measurements for the parts? I'd really would like to build Baba Yaga's hut.

  4. No idea. I built it a while back and I don't tend to make plans or anything. The base is a CD, so 12cm diameter. I think the hut was about 10cm square on the base.
