Ishoo Atey-Ate: Dark Elf Watch Tower

Greetings Hippo fans and welcome to what is almost certainly the last ishoo of TFH for 2013 - The Dark Elf Watch Tower.
With the importance of the Elven race to the Warhammer World, it often seems a little strange that there is not that much elf terrain out there. And it's worse for the Dark Elves - hardly anyone has any terrain for them. Well, it's time to redress the balance, because really, Dark Elf terrain is so easy even a hippo could make it.

And there you have it, Hippo Fans! For those of you who want them, here are the templates used:

Well, I've got a bunch of commissions to work on now, so it might be a while before the next Ishoo gets out - unless I can work something out involving one of the commissions that is.

Ishoo Number Error

I've just been updating my running sheet (long over due!) and suddenly realised that four ishoos went missing. See, when I moved house, I didn't do much terrain modelling for a few months, meaning there was a fairly long gap between ishoos. And when I started up again, I somehow posted what should've been Ishoo Atey-For as Ishoo Atey-Ate.
I've fixed things up now by renumbering the last four ishoos. If you're paying attention, you'll notice the URLs keep the wrong numbers, but the post titles are the right numbers now.

Ishoo Atey-Sven: Sci Fi Turn Counter

Welcome to the eighty-seventh instalment of our attempt to prove that even the African River Horse can make terrain! This time we're looking at a Sci-Fi turn counter, although the same mechanism could be used to keep track of victory points as well.
"How hard," I hear you ask, "can it be?"
You're going to need this.

And there you have it! With a deft flick of the wrist, you can easily keep track of turns, victory points, remaining jelly beans, casualties, or whatever you want.
Check back soon for Ishoo Ninty-Too: Dark Elf Tower!

The First Terrain Crusade

You may remember a few months back, I posted about having been interviewed by The Campaigner, a new, print-on-demand wargames magazine. Well, the editor was nice enough to offer me a series of articles, the first of which appears in the Issue 6 of The Campaigner.
Naturally, you should all support the magazine by buying fourteen thousand copies each.

Ishoo Atey-six: Scrap Yard

Here it is folks - the TFH Annual Contest Winner's Special Request Ishoo! By Winning the contest, Evan Brooks also won a commision voucher, the building of which was to be the subject of an upcoming ishoo.
Well, he decided he wanted a Necromundan scrap yard. So that's what this Ishoo is about.
Cue Grot!

And there you have it! The mighty wrecked crap trading empire of Shady Zeke! Stay tuned for next ishoo - it's probably going to be about turn counter, and then I'm going to be well and truly stuck into some comissions so it might be a while before anything much else happens.
