Like a fair number of gamers world wide, I've just picked up Fanticide, and gotten all excited. Many of you are probably excited about using some of Eureka's classic winged monkeys, or creating your own warbands. I'm excited about those things, but I'm even more excited about creating a whole new world with terrain!
I was thrilled to discover Fanticide's rules for hostile terrain - and then find that you can actually buy some of it for your warband! So naturally, I had to have a shot at making some. Of the pieces described, the Obo produced the most vivid mental image, so I went with that. So, how hard is it to create a mysterious, ancient teleporter?
Well, here's wing'ed fez'ed Grot to show you!
And there you have it! A strange and wonderous teleporter to take you precisely to nowhere.
As to the glitter glue, the stuff I used is called 'Kiddy Glitz' made by Derivan. It comes in a range of colours, but I've used Crystalina since it dries clear. It came from a local craft shop. Apparently you can buy spray on glitter from Krylon and other companies, and there are also glitter paints. If all else fails, use spray adhesive and sprinkle on glitter. It's quite hard to get a decent photo of the glitter regrettably...
Anyways, next ishoo we'll probably be building a hut on fowl's legs!
