Welcome back to Mek Shop Month! In our last installment, Grot built an ork Warbuggy chassis. In this installment, we're going to look at building a body and big shoota turret. This part requires a lot less engineering and precision, so it's much quicker than the chassis and you can let your hair down and get creative with decoration and weapon design.
Anyway, here's Grot to explain.
And there you have it hippo fans - one ded fast warbuggy all ready for some hardcore dakka-age. At this point you could go nuts with battledamage and strapping on all sorts of accessories and decorations. I think I'm going to leave it as is.
In our next installment we'll be looking at building a rokkit launcha for a second buggy. It'll be a shorter ishoo since there's not much point going back over how to build the body - we'll just cover the launcha itself.
Sweet work.
ReplyDeleteThat is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteLooks great, but I think your shoota pictures are out of order.
ReplyDeleteSo they are. The shootas were actually build at the same time as the turrets so the photos were interspersed. I moved them to a more sensible order and somehow ended up copy+pasting them in backwards. Which is odd.
DeleteThey are now in the right order.
